Knockout Monk Plate Rules

Please consult the General Rules and Conditions that apply to all SLCGA knock-out Competitions. (Rules G1-G26), Issue 16v.
particularly section G15, Dates Offered and G18g availability for finals day

Rothschild Trophy and Monk Plate Rules and Conditions - (R=Rothschild)
R1. An individual scratch singles match play Competition played annually.
R2. The Competition is open to players with handicap indices plus to 12.0 on the closing date.
R3. If player(s) are going to be unavailable for an extended period they should consider whether it is appropriate to enter the competition.
R4. First round losers will automatically be entered into the Monk Plate. The above rules will apply. The same draw sheet will be used.
R5. The player drawn at ‘Home’ must offer at least 3 dates to her opponent and they should all be on a weekend or a Bank Holiday. Play on weekdays is permissible provided that both players are in agreement. Tee times for each match should be at least 4 hours before sunset.
R6. HOME ADVANTGE:
Quarter final - Player at the top of the draw will play at Home.
Semi final- will be played at a neutral venue
Final will be played at Cuddington on Sunday 7th April

R7. Play by Dates
Quarter final - contact by 28th Jan Play by 18th Feb
Semi Final - contact by 10th March Play by 31st March
Final - Sunday 7th April at Cuddington
