This is an England Golf South Region competition open to players whose home club is in Surrey, Hampshire, Middlesex, Kent and Sussex. It is a 36 hole stroke play Championship for all age groups. Trophies are awarded for overall scratch & nett Champions (any age), U14/ U16/ U18 scratch & nett. Also a Team Trophy is awarded for the County with best aggregate scratch score ( 3 scores to count). This year, for the first time, there was due to be a competition over 18 holes for Senior women over the age of 50. Disappointingly, a lack of entries caused Kent to cancel the Championship. It is hoped that it will run again in 2025, hosted by Hampshire.
Surrey hosted the Championship at Burhill Golf Club in 2023. To see the list of 2023 Trophy Winners, click here
