General Rules and Conditions
Please consult the General Rules and Conditions that apply to all SWG knock-out Competitions. (Rules G1-G26), Issue v24.
Players may only represent one club in any one year.
A Club must be affiliated to Surrey Women’s Golf. All Players must be a member of a Surrey Golf Club and have a WHS handicap index. All players must have played three qualifying rounds in the previous 12 months prior to the date of each match (not including cards used to gain their Initial Handicap Index). This applies to handicap and scratch competitions.
Any player may play in any round, this is a team competition, as long as combined handicap index is 60.0 or less.
Players who go over this combination cannot play together (even off a lower handicap of 60.0)
Clubs might choose a pairing for this competition; however, players may be substituted after any round, even after a date has been agreed to play the match. Clubs should always be able to field a team within the time frame of each round.
Inter-Club Handicap Foursomes Rules and Conditions (HF= Handicap Foursomes)
HF 1. An Inter-Club Foursomes Match Play Competition played annually Home or Away.
HF 2. Clubs entering must be affiliated to SWG.
HF 3. Players may be substituted after any round, even after a date has been agreed to play the match.
HF 4. Players may only represent one club in any one year.
HF 5. Matches will be played off 50% of the difference between the aggregate of each Team’s Course Handicaps. Rounded Course Handicaps will be used for this competition. The combined handicap indices may not exceed a maximum of 60.0
Eg Pair 1: Annie: CH 16 Bryony: CH 21 Aggregate CH 37
Opponents Pair 2: Cynthia: CH 22 Debbie: CH 18 Aggregate CH 40
40-37=3 divided by 2 and rounded is 2 so Cynthia and Debbie will receive 2 shots
HF 6 NOTE: Some clubs may have multiple home matches or away matches due to the nature of the draw
All rounds up to the semi final will be a random Home/Away draw created at the start of the competition by IG.
Semi-finals will be held at a neutral venue, organised by SWG.
Final will be played ON (not by) 10th 0r 11th October TBC

R2 Play by 7/6/26 (contact 1/5/26)
R3 Play by 12/7/26 (Contact 12/6/26)
R4 Play by 23/8/26 (Contact by 17/7/25)
R5 (Semi-finals will be held at a neutral venue, organised by SWG.)
Play by 27/9/26 (Contact by 28/8/26)
Final will be played ON (not by) 10th OR 11th OCT TBC
