An annual 4BBB match play competition.

Finals Day 13th Oct 2024 at Chobham GC

Matches will be played off 90% of full course handicap difference from the lowest player. (Changed effective 1st April 2024). Rounded Course Handicaps will be used for this competition.

Open to players with a handicap index up to 30.

Players must read SWG Competition Rules and Guidelines.

Players must be a member of a club affiliated to SWG and have current handicaps.

All players who wish to enter a SWG competition must be in possession of a current, registered WHS handicap.  They must have played three qualifying rounds in the previous 12 months prior to the date of the Event, or for Individual and Inter-club competitions, prior to  the date of each match. This applies to handicap and scratch competitions.

No substitutions will be allowed once the first round has been played.

The contact sheet will be emailed to Player 1 and the draw posted on the website

RULES;

Players must read SWG Competition Rules and Guidelines.
Particular attention is draw to Rule G15c dates offered & G18g availability for finals day.

4BBB Rules and Conditions (BB= Better Ball)

BB1. A 4BBB match play Competition played for annually.
BB2. Players entering must be a member of a Club affiliated to SWG or be an associate or individual member of SWG. Pairings do not need to be from the same Club.
BB3. The competition is open to handicap indices plus to 30.0. There will be no maximum limit of 1 stroke per hole. Matches will be played off 90% of full course handicap difference from the lowest player. (Changed effective 1st April 2024). Rounded Course Handicaps will be used for this competition.
BB4. The player drawn at “Home” must offer at least 3 dates to her opponents as per the General Rules and Conditions – See Rules G14 and G17.
BB5. A pair who are members of different clubs are not restricted as to which course they offer for each round when drawn as the ‘home’ pair.
BB6. No substitutions will be allowed once the first round has been played.

BB7. Round 1 - The players at the top of the draw will play at “Home”.
Round 2 - The players at the bottom of the draw will play at “Home”
Round 3 - The players at the top of the draw will play at “Home”.
Round 4 - The players at the bottom of the draw will play at “Home”
