We are excited to announce the launch of a brand new SWG trophy competition — The Academy CupCreated especially to give academy members their first taste of competitive team golf, proudly representing their club.This exciting new event offers academies the chance to enter a two-player team and compete in a fun, inclusive format designed for developing golfers. It’s the perfect introduction to team competition and club pride.Competition details at a glance:⛳ Format: 9 holes, 4BBB (85%)
⛳Teams: 2 players per academy*
⛳ Handicap Index: 36.0–54.0 (Players without a handicap will be allocated 54.0)
⛳ Venue: Hurtmore Golf Club
⛳ Date: 7 September 2026
Places are limited to just 20 clubs, so early registration is advised; please complete the form to register.
Clubs will initially be asked to register their interest, with final player selections confirmed by 7th August.
Clubs will be encouraged to appoint a Team Captain for the day to support their players.
