Ellie Monk, Helen Holm Champion!
Huge congratulations to Ellie Monk, recently named in the Surrey County First Team, who has won the Helen Holm Scottish Women's Open. Her final three round total of +2 was two shots ahead of Nellie Ong and Kate Lanigan who tied for 2nd place. Ellie shot a fantastic -1 par final round of 71 on the Old Course at Royal Troon.
The Helen Holm is open to female amateur golfers of all nationalities. The Championship consists of 54 holes of stroke play, contested over three days. 120 players played 18 holes on each of the first two days on the Royal Troon Portland golf course, with the leading 60 competitors going on to play a further 18 holes on the third day on the Royal Troon Old Course.
