Senior Friendly fixture vs Middlesex
The senior friendly team had a tough but very enjoyable match versus Middlesex at Wyke Green. The weather was perfect for golf but the Middlesex players used their home advantage to good effect. The team of Heather Kitson, Rosie Smith,Lisa Chung ,Trudi Proud,Sally Peters,Sue Jarman,Di Morgans & Carol Green had some tight matches, but Surrey lost 3-1. You may notice that one of our players didn't meet the criteria for a senior but fortunately the opponents were understanding of the accidental error!
We thoroughly enjoyed the match and excellent cake afterwards.
