Surrey score another impressive victory
In the afternoon match on day two of County Week, Surrey took on hosts Middlesex. Team captain, Katie Laud, decided to keep the same foursomes pairings and singles players as in the morning. Surrey came out reinvigorated after lunch. Ava had the toughest match, playing Middlesex County Champion, Gemma Allman. She battled well, trading holes with her opponent, ultimately securing a fair and well deserved half. The other four matches were won in impressive and very convincing fashion giving Surrey a fantastic 4.5-0.5 victory.
Surrey are in a very strong position going into the final session when they will play Kent. Let's hope they can keep up their fantastic form. Good luck, Pinkies! ??⛳?
