Senior Scratch Team match versus Kent
Whilst the first team were playing at Mill Hill the Senior Scratch team played Kent at Royal Mid Surrey. Unfortunately, our senior pinkies were unable to match the first team’s wins losing a closely fought match against Kent. With 2 games going to the 18th this really was one that could have gone either way but Kent managed the tricky and windy conditions slightly better to win 3 ½ to 2 ½. RMS had only come off their composite course 3 days ago and with the river once again rising onto the course overnight on Sunday we were given an insight into the issues they’ve had since October. The matches were played in great spirit and all enjoyed a drink together on the patio and a delicious and beautifully presented cod meal afterwards. Onwards to Sussex at Hindhead!
