Julia Brook selected for England Senior Team
Huge congratulations to Surrey's Julia Brook (Walton Heath) who has been selected for the England Senior Women's Team to play in the European Senior Women's Team Championship at the Pula Golf Resort, Spain, from 2-6 September. Julia will also be part of the England team for the Women's & Men's Home Internationals at Ferndown Golf Club, Dorset, from 16-18 September.
Julia has been on fantastic form recently. She was placed 3rd in the English Women's Senior Stroke Play and had a top 5 finish at the Scottish Senior Women's Open. Her place in the England Senior Women's Team is very well deserved.
The full team will be: Julia Brook (Walton Heath), Sarah Naden (The Wilmslow), Sally Shayler (The Bedfordshire), Catherine Rawthore (Sale), Kerry Smith (Waterlooville) and Tracey Williamson (Sheringham). Emma Brown (Malton & Norton) will join the team for the Home Internationals with Sophie Beardsall (Greetham Valley) as first reserve.
Julia is the SWG Director of Junior Golf.
